I am an outdoor lover, mother, food hoarder and kitchen queen.
I started on a whole food/Paleo Journey 7 years ago, when I had no energy and was always getting sick. I found by removing gluten, sugar and processed foods from my diet, I had my energy back, and now I hardly ever get sick.
I strive to eat fresh whole foods that I can procure locally or raise myself for the most part. I am fortunate to have a husband who hunts. He provides us with elk and antelope. We have a network of ranchers and farmers nearby, that raise healthy pastured pigs and grass finished beef, vegetables and raw dairy !
My husband’s grandmother always said “Good Food is cheap Medicine”, I believe that is a very true statement. I am a firm believer in the healing power of good clean whole foods. Combine that with good sleep, being in nature and having fun, and you have a recipe for great health.
This blog will be a great way for me to share my creations and discoveries with you, and to keep track of what I’ve come up with in the kitchen. Enjoy!
